A more stable steam supply through AI

A microcomputer has been incorporated into the waste heat recovery boiler to ensure continued overall efficiency of cogeneration. More precise control allows highly efficient and stable waste heat recovery for a safe and extended operating life.

New Control Functions

Steam Pressure Sensor
• A more precise control stabilizes the steam pressure, compared to traditional pressure switches.
• Automatic compensation for the boiler data according to steam pressure enables highly precise control.

Automatic control of water concentration
• AI function carries out regular automatic blowdown to remove the concentrated water, keeping water concentration in the boiler at a set value. If water concentration in the boiler exceeds a set value, the sensor detects it and automatic drainage is activated, water concentration in the boiler is thoroughly monitored. Water concentration control is crucial for a high quality steam supply.

Waste gas pressure sensor
• Monitoring of waste gas pressure activates by-pass operation in case of failure.

Control changes are carried out under strict safety measures, at the same time that steam stop is prevented, continuous engine operation is maintained.

Signal monitor allows easy assessment of current steam pressure, exhaust gas pressure, and boiler electro-conductivity, making it possible to establish a highly accurate online maintenance.

Temperature control function
Seven items corresponding to heat management for the boiler itself are shown in the panel
In order to maintain a safe and stable operation, seven items, including steam output, blow amount are shown in the panel as operation data. A simple and easy to see and understand display has been installed. Boiler conditions can be assessed at a glance.
Line-up
The standard line-up includes 10 models of ECS-D2 type for diesel engines, and 9 models of ECS-GC, GB, GX type for gasoline engines for a generator capacity of 400-3000 kW.
